During the Pearl rhythm festival this year in October the 29th, the session will be conducted in partnership with eWa Afrika under their KALABASH Project. The package is a unique think and do tank keen to drive advocacy programmes where individuals from different spheres come to put their minds together and push forward the Kalabash motto of ‘Resonating Africa’s creativity’ and thus promote the creative industries among business, government, academia and civil society in Africa. Kalabash is a multifaceted platform committed to a better Afrika through creativity, culture and entrepreneurship (creative economy). Through this platform, we champion noteworthy design, facilitate and produce creative projects, support creative businesses and run educational initiatives. Our goal with this project is to inspire, empower and transform people to create a better Afrika through their gifts and talents.
